Ww1 Victory on replacement ribbon named Lieut s s tyler.

Stanley stapleton tyler was born 19th April 1889.

He was a surveyor by occupation from 1906 onwards .

He initially served in Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve then was commissioned into the Royal Naval Air Service as a wireless operator/ observer ,transferred to raf 1st April 1918 .

Address given as Durham villa …… Kent.

He was on unemployed list 1919 .

Emigrated post war and ended up a a usa citizen.

He died aged 84 years on 23rd November 1973 whist in the Canary Islands and is buried in the British cemetery there .
