Thomas Arthur was born to Thomas and Annie in Sheerness in May 1894.

We find him in 1911 living at The Gate Lodge, Tuggens College, Northfleet in Kent and working as a cabinet maker.

He was sent to France in December 1916 with 2 officers and 35 other men. He was a part of 212 Anti Aircraft Section, RA.

In 1921, he is still living at his previous address.

He married Violet Emily Edith Townsend in 1922.

In 1939, we find him living at 6 Hart Road, St Albans, Hertfordshire. He is still working as a cabinet maker, master joiner.

He died in 1980.
