Correctly named SS6031 MS Crowley AB RN

Malcolm Sim Crowley was born in Lanarkshire in 1897 to William and Margaret.

In 1901, we find the family living at 110 Stanley Street, Kinning Park Landward, Glasgow.

When he entered the Royal Navy in 1915, Malcolm was working as a boot finisher.

He served aboard HMS Pelorus and Cormorant during hostilities and later was posted to HMS Defiance.

He transferred to the Royal Fleet Reserve in June 1920.

The medals have modern replacement ribbon.
