Ww1 Victory on long tatty original ribbon named to 4682 pte g e Dalby c gds.

Born at Hull, Yorkshire July 1885.

George was captured at Ypres 29th October 1914 serving with c company.

Addresses given as 3 cobden place ,porter St, Hull & 34 West St, Brook Street, Hull.

5th October 1917 at parchim prisoner of war camp .

1921 at 12 guards terrace ,Caterham, Surrey working as a guardsman at Chelsea barracks, London.

Noted as courtmartialled as 2646053 with 1st Battalion sentenced to 56 days detention .

He died October 1952 at Hull.
